This was recommended to me by a horticulturist.One of my house plants became infested with the fungus soil flies. It’s my favourite plant at 8ft tall. It’s still healthy but the little blighters were breeding like crazy in the soil and after trying everything that I could lay my hands on I happened to mention my problem to this person.They recommended the dunks and even though the price was a bit spendy I was desperate; the blighters had infected another lovely plant and I could see it escalating to all of my house plants.They are definitely the genuine article and I followed the instructions. After the solution was ready I gave my big plant a big watering plus all of my other house plants. I then put the sticky yellow card fly catcher in all of my plants to collect the adults flying off.It’s been a week so far only 2 of my plants seem to be infected which is good. The yellow fly catchers have trapped quite a few from my very large plant although not as many as I thought they would which is a good sign. The other plant nearby has only 2 flies caught.I took what was left of the dunk out of the water after the first watering and it’s dried out so as per instructions I will reactivate it when I do the watering in a couple of days by going through the same process again.I have really high hopes for this treatment and hopefully within a few weeks all of the lava will be killed off and no more adults will emerge. I have only used half a dunk so far so I feel in the end they should prove to be good value.Fingers crossed!

Does the job as described

Having setup a pond in my garden I was surprised to find it overrun with mosquitoes. I bought this product and placed on onto the surface of the pond where it floats. Around 14 days later they had all been killed off. This product will not harm fish or plants. Now that I’ve learnt my lesson i will use this product all the time. Each float ring you use will last 30 days making it good value for money. It does not give off a smell and it’s super easy to use. Don’t be put off that at first nothing seems to be killing them off as it takes time for it to breakdown and work. Highly recommend this product. It does what it says but takes time at first. If you use once a month from Spring through till late autumn, you will not be troubled by these pests again.

Not worked waste of money

I've been battling fungus gnats on my houseplants for the best part of two years. I've tried all the hacks and tricks you can imagine to keep them at bay, but this right here? This is the one thing that finally eliminated every last fly. Steep some of a tab in a container of water (follow the instructions on how much of a tab to use per amount of water), and water your plants like normal with the mixture. Pair with a rotation of sticky traps, to catch adult flies, and after a few weeks you'll finally be free.
