The PERFECT red lip!
This lipstick was such a good buy for me! I don't wear dark lipstick but some events just call for it (hello Christmas pictures) so I bought this and am sooo happy with it! It went on smoothly and lasted a long time. The color was perfect and I might even wear it for more than just special occasions.

The Perfect Red
The rich velvety color is absolutely gorgeous. It's so hard to find the right red - but this is it! I'm used to wearing a 24-hour type of lipstick that has to practically be chiseled off - and this is not that. It does have to be reapplied - especially after eating/drinking- but it has fairly good staying power. I find that lining and filling my lips first with Urban Decay's 24/7 lip pencil in Ozone (clear) goes a long way in keeping the color in place - and also helps a lot with feathering. I can't wait to try another color. Love it!

Be sure you have a Nars pencil sharpener as others are too small. Applies well, beautiful color

Not what I expected - WAAAAY smaller
I feel like this was intentionally presented as much bigger than it actually was. Delivery took FOREVER.

Love the color
I love this color! I didn't like that the tip of the pencil you see in the picture doesn't extend. It doesn't twist like a retractable pencil so that you can continue to use it. I went through this pencil in less than a month. So it was rather expensive for the little bit of color.

A Mess
First it is too blue to be the perfect red I thought it would be. Second, and th biggest issue - it doesn't fit any of the six large hole pencil sharpeners I have. I do not like this color enough to spend more money on NARS pencil sharpener. I tried using a razer, and came out with a mess. I used it only a couple of times before it became unusable without sharpening, so it is an expensive useless thing that lays around. I deeply resent NARS making it different size from all the other big pencils out there, just to be able to sell their own sharpeners.
