Q: I get that it is useful for tracking when it comes to stars etc, but is it capable of tracking the moon? That travels much faster across the sky.

The stars appear to move from East to West as a result of the earth's rotation and the moon ( and the sun) appears to move across the sky at about the same rate for the same reason. In fact the moon's movement is very slightly slower as its independent orbital motion carries it Eastward at about 12 degrees per day (24h). The Star adventurer has a lunar tracking setting which allows for this.

Q: Can i use this with a zhumell z130 telescope?

I do not think so. That telescope is around 9 kg, the maximum payload of this mount is around 5 kg. I think that the motor is not even capable to work properly.

Q: What is the difference between this and the sky-watcher star adventurer 2i pro pack apart from the price?

The 2i version has the ability to wirelessly connect to the Star Adventurer app which can control various things from tracking to shutter control with an optional shutter release cable. Best regards, Joseph.

Hello, apart from power, the pack does include everything you need. For power, you can use 8x AA batteries or a 5v USB power supply. Please note this particular version of the product (50200) has been superseded, replaced by the Star Adventurer 2i (50211). Best regards, Joseph.
