I am an avid crafter & artist and I'm always eager to try various brands of art supplies. I've owned several alcohol based markers from name brand ones like copic & blick to lesser known brands & generic brands. Overall, these aren't too bad for a starter set or beginner set. Especially with the variety of colors, and set at an affordable & reasonable price, these are a pretty good bargain. It comes with a wide range of colors, and the blending quality is actually pretty good. The colors aren't arranged in the case from lightest to darkest in each shade very well so it makes it hard to decipher which shades would blend together the best like some leading brands do, but once you start playing with the colors, you'll get a better idea of which colors can blend best together. The bleed resistance is good so as long as you are using a strong enough weight of paper, you'll be able to color & blend without much bleeding. I have only been using them a few days a week for about 2-2.5 weeks now, but so far, the ink is still generous & I haven't noticed any of them drying out quickly. Overall, I would rate it a 4.25-4.5 Stars, but since we can't give half Star ratings, I rounded up to 5 Stars.

Great set for hobbyists, there is a good balance of colors and the markers are juicy. The colors are not a perfect match to the caps so I made a swatch for them. I do wish there was an option of brush tip.I would say this is a fantastic value for the amount of markers in the set!

There is something so cool about seeing 168 colors side-by-side, ready for use that makes me happy. I couldn't wait to get started and was happy when I did! My art choices got so refined by the ability to choose colors that are genuinely a step away in tone or value. I love the ease of the color sheet with numbers, and more importantly the at-a-glance end-of-the-marker plastic colors save so much time in selecting the perfect pen. The dual tip refines my ability to get what's in my head to the paper. Love this set.

Exceeds my expectations. The bag is sturdy, with a smooth zipper and top carry handle. Fantastic color assortment for a nature palette - not a lot of blue, but lots of botanical and flesh tones. True to labeled colors when drawn on paper. Fantastic value for 120 large pens + carry bag.
