ALTON ALD115 Brass 5-INCH Pop-Up Type Waste Coupling For Wash Basin (Silver)

Reviewing this wonderful product after over a year of intermittent use.Premium quality product once again by Alton.Fitted this piece on a Varmora make wash Basin...have no complains whatsoever till date At first,I was a bit skeptical about thin CP pop up flange..fat.ceramic pop up flange looks gorgeous blending well with white ceramic basins.Well,have to change that notion now. . The CP pop up flange actually looks sleek. All the metal parts excepting the brass coloured jam nut are chrome plated brass.,with the gaskets and washers being silicon rather than plain rubber.My order arrived without the the lowermost gasket.I immediately contacted the seller about the missing part through whattsapp .His explanation was convincing enough to convince me that even without the gasket,it would still be a leak proof fit if I install the components in the sequence depicted in the pictorial guide of the product page...well ...here I am a satisfied customer after more than a year of intense use.....no leaks,no rust or corrosion.I read that in some sections of the comments/review,some of the customers are complaining about leaks etc... .... .what makes for a leak proof fit is the order in which the silicon gaskets and washers are placed especially the LOWER WASHER on the threaded coupling sideJust refer to the pictorial step by step guide please.A great buy....Just go for it

The product looks good and comes with a good quality. I have used few Alton products like Mixers, Angle cocks and all of them are excellent quality.The one issue i found about this product is If the waste coupling goes too low inside the cutting hole, when you press the top portion to Open the valve, it will hit the ceramic wash basin body and just wont unlock. This happens only while unlocking the drain, not while locking it. A second problem i found is that the rubber washer they have provided is not perfectly sealing my basin hole. So i removed the washer and put some white silicon to seal the gap perfectly.Other things like packing, appearance etc are perfect and will look beautiful on the Ceramic white basins. I am using it on my wash basin.Hope you found my review helpful. Thanks!

Fully steel and weight is heavyBest quality

The media could not be loaded. The quality is good and easy to use. However sometimes it is getting stuck. Overall a good purchase and I'm satisfied .

this product is so..so

Works well price seems ok too at 450, normal good ones are available for about 350. It didn't required any additional sealant.
