The media could not be loaded. I audibly gasped when I opened up the Amazon envelope and saw this tiny box. I thought at first that I must have misread the description and didn't order an electric sharpener because all the other portable sharpeners I've ever tried were much larger than this. It is definitely electric (uses two AA batteries), and the battery compartment was easy to load.In addition to the pleasing and adorable smol-ness, it's easy to hold in your hand and use. If it's sitting on the table, it works pretty well, but only if the surface is flat. In my video you can see it kind of spins away from me a bit, but I think it's cuz it's on top of my sketchbook on my lap and I'm also focused on trying to hold the phone to record so I kind of tilted the pencil a bit.The point it gives the pencil when done sharpening is perfect! It doesn't have an auto-stop feature like some sharpeners do, but you can hear a slight change in the pitch of the motor when it's done sharpening. I have no idea how long the batteries will last, but so far every other feature of this unit is superb so I wouldn't be surprised if they last forever lol.10/10 recommend!! In fact, I'll probably buy another one so I can keep one on the desk and one in my travel bag I take when I bring my art stuff out into the world to sketch. Maybe I'll be adventurous and get the blue one instead of clear. 😊

Compact size makes just right for travel. Works well in sharpening pencils .

This sharpener works great but it can only sharpen two pencils at a time. If you try to do a third one then the spot for the pencil shavings gets stuck. It is a very small area. The whole sharpener is very small. It takes AA batteries.

I love that it’s a small sharpener, also you don’t need to connect it, it’s battery operated. Sharpens really well too

Broke almost immediately. Cheaply made, over priced. She sharpened maybe 5 pencils with it before the battery cover fell off, now she has to hold the batteries in place while sharpening.

This is a wonderful compact battery operated sharpener. Perfect to take to art class in my supply bag. Very happy with how it sharpens.

Good value, easy to use and surprisingly powerful for batteries.I was a little worried with this not being USB, but batteries good, and powered well.Works fine - cuts clean and sharp.A nice little addition for the home office.

Like the fact it really is quick and easy to use.Nothing to dislike.

Doesn’t work on every pencil that fits the sharpener. In my experience it’s the round cheaper pencil that doesn’t work. Maybe it’s the lead that keeps breaking in theses pencils

I bought this sharpener in April 2024 and it was fantastic at first - sharpened pencils like a dream - But by end of June 2024 this stopped and the pencils just spin round and round and no sharpening happens- I have changed the batteries but presume that the blade is blunt already!! Very disappointed - Even though it was only £10 it was a waste of money -No replacement blades are available. I have contacted the company in China but do not hold out much hope of help - I may be wrong
