A good keyboard mouse for Mac Air
I'm using my Mac air as a desktop replacement and needed a good keyboard and mouse. I've deployed this Macally unit before to other users I support but this is the first time using it myself for any length of time. Everything has a good look and feel, and I especially like the extra control and option keys on the right hand side. The USB ports in the back of the keyboard are handy but they will not power any devices that rely on direct power to function - external/compact hardrives and the like.

Truly Excellent Keyboard
You cannot go wrong with this wired keyboard & mouse. It is a large, full-size keyboard. The keys are shallow but very bevelled and nice. It has a nice solid crisp feel to the typing. The dark gray letters on the light colored keyboard are SO much easier to see than the white letters on the black keys of my original Apple keyboard that I have. Yes, there are two USB ports along the top back of this keyboard which you can't see in the picture. That was very important to me. I can't see losing another USB port on your computer for the mouse! The mouse has a very nice feel in the hand and clicks well. This was just plug in and go - no need for any CD or anything. I am not able to take advantage of the right button or the scroll wheel on my particular computer. Recently bought a new Mac Mini w/Snow Leopard after years of my G4 with OS 9.2. Thought I better update. Rather than buy a new scanner, printer, all new software, just bought this "cheap" keyboard and a cheap Acer monitor from Target to keep my old computer alive thru the transition, and not have to constantly change the cables from one computer to the other for monitor and keyboard. Well let me say even though the price is great this is definitely NOT a cheap keyboard and mouse. I still can't believe the price. (The $99 Acer monitor from Target IS cheap however since it does not have the proper resolution so I had to choose large black bands on each side vs. a truly stretched out picture which made an 8.5 x 11 page look square.) I use a beautiful Samsung 24" for my new Mac Mini. I am going to buy a second of this keyboard & mouse for my new Mac too, that is how much I like it.

Returned two
I bought one and had it replaced because it kept losing connectivity, sometimes even while I was typing. I figured it was defective so I had it replaced. The second had exactly the same issue, and I finally decided to return it. It was a shame because it's a very nice keyboard, but the constant loss of connection became simply too irritating.

Seems like a new generation hybred
This is a full size keyboard designed for the mac/pc. I am running an IMAC with Mountain Lion 10.8.5 and I have noticed that this keyboard seems faster than any other I have tried. I am running Parallel and Windows 7 on the same system. Crisp performance in both mac and pc. All the keys are available but somewhat different results on option and command keys between the two operating systems. I handle a lot of numbers so I am very happy to have the 10 key pad. This keyboard has a sleep button that is sort of nice. Button brings up a dialog box where I can decide to sleep turn off or restart. Button will then wake up the computer but not turn it on from the off state. I have tried USB keyboards designed for the pc with little or no effect. The mouse has a normal length cord and is very nice. Have not tried other USB mice with it yet. A good buy and I would recommend it.Have just upgraded to Mavericks. Function of sleep button has changed and it no longer brings up the dialog box. Now it mimics the power button on the mac and immediately goes to sleep.

A Keyboard Loaded With Features
The Macally Quick Switch Keyboard is priced somewhat higher than most of their other keyboards, but what it has in price it more than makes up in features. This is a multiple-switch keyboard that you can use for your Mac or PC, phone, or tablet--for a total of 5 devices. It features 15 Function keys and a number of specialty ones. These include a PRINT button, REVERSE DELETE key and a number of media keys (brightness, eject, volume).Macally has wisely opted for both Bluetooth connectivity and standard USB with an included cable on the same keyboard. Now you can't complain that this keyboard will not work for you!Unlike keyboards from other vendors, this Macally keyboard has a heightened angle (about 30º) for proper hand support. The keyboard has a fine scissor-switch feel. A nice addition is an enlarged ENTER/RETURN key.My only complaint with the Quick Switch keyboard is that it is made entirely of plastic unlike other keyboards made out of aluminum for less weight. As the saying goes, "you get what you pay for" and this fine keyboard is a perfect example.

Great idea, low build quality.
I'd really love to give this keyboard a high rating, but unfortunately the build quality stops me from doing so. Upon arrival, three keys had popped off - while I've done my best to re-attach them, the "Z" key is just done for. The switching works well, the stand is great, and everything else would make this a perfect device, but the quality of the materials should definitely keep you away - look into something else (or be ready to try and return it a few times).

Exactly what I needed.
I have been using a wireless keyboard and mouse for years. When I began experiencing connection issues and some of the keyboard's keys no longer worked, some would just stick and I knew it was time for a new keyboard. I priced a few wireless replacement options, but I found that I couldn't justify the initial cost, and having already wasted far too much money on batteries I opted to return to wired. The Macally USB Slim Keyboard and Optical Game Mouse Combo was the perfect fit, not only did it work the moment I plugged it into my computer's USB port, but I gained a USB port because the keyboard has two USB ports built right in, and I didn't have to wait for the computer to find the mouse because this mouse has a tail that automatically keeps it connected. I didn't have to install any drivers and I won't have to buy it any batteries. I am very pleased to say that I made the right purchase, Thank you Macally.

Damn cheap
Good price for a keyboard and mouse that actually work with a mac. The extra usb port on the keyboard doesn't work (not enough power) so that sucks, and the keys are pretty clicky, but all I wanted was a quick and cheap keyboard. It does the trick.

Clavier Macally
Je n'aime pas beaucoup ce clavier. J'arrive mal à m'habituer aux touches. Elles me semblent imprécises. Le clavier mac qu'il remplace était bien meilleur en tout point, mais il m'a lâché.
