this is great and works smoothly! my cat loves it and its pretty much adorable. really quiet and the noise level wont disturb u at night or at all. the water quality has been great too as i havent seen even a speck of dirt. also very durable and great for kitties u love!

My 2 cats have really enjoyed drinking from this nice-looking, quiet water fountain. I clean it regularly. Unfortunately, after 6 months, the pump stopped working. I contacted Giotohun's customer service, and requested a replacement pump. What do you know, they quickly sent me a replacement! I was frankly astonished that they honored their warranty and took care of their customer. A very good business practice! I wish all businesses treated their customers this way.

Easy to use, the design is sleek and simple but in a good way. It matches her automatic feeder. I think it’s very quiet you don’t even think it’s on. I Love the blue light, looks really cool and shows the water level in the dark. My cat was skeptical at first but drinks from it just fine. I’ve had it for a week now and the water looks clean and none of her hairs are floating in it. I’ll be cleaning it in another week as they recommend every 2 weeks.

UPDATE: changed to a 4 star review. After I bought a new one, the new one came with an instructional video on how to clean the pump. The first one did not. Once I cleaned the pump my old fountain seems to be working just fine - time will tell if it continues! Took a star away because I wish my first purchase would have included pump cleaning instructions so I could have avoided the hassle and expense of purchasing a second fountain.I really liked this water fountain because it never leaked was easy to keep clean and generally, my cat didn’t seem annoyed by it. It’s really quiet and so easy to maintain.Unfortunately, less than a year of owning it, the pump stopped working. I ended up ordering a Second water fountain in the same brand because I’ve had such horrible luck with other water fountains being leaky/hard to clean/loud. I really hope fountain number two lasts just a little bit longer. Otherwise I’m going to have to go back to just a regular bowl of water. I’m fortunate the fountain started malfunctioning while I was home and was able to immediately ensure my cat still had access to fresh water.This would be a perfect water fountain if it had more longevity.

I have 3.5 cats and they all love this fountain! I originally bought it for my male who kept getting UTIs and crystals from not drinking enough. This fixed it! However the kitten in the house really loves to take the lid off and see how far the water will run. If you put a rubber band around the rim of the lid it seals it tightly enough that a cat can't pry the lid off. It's got a lot of pieces to clean if you take it completely apart, which I do once a week. It's been in daily use for a year and works perfectly. I replace the filters every 3-5 weeks, the filters are easy to find and pretty inexpensive.

My babies love this fountain and adapted to it immediately! It's easy to use and clean and is really good for when we go out of town for the weekend. Great purchase.

My cat loved this but it died after a couple months. The filter clogged constantly and toward the end I had to constantly unplug and plug back in to get it to work. It died quickly and now my cat is sad. He loved it when it worked.

This is a great purchase. I have 3 cats and a Yorkie, and this works beautifully for all of them. I really appreciate how clean it keeps the water. The noise level is nearly inaudible. The dual filters are a plus. However, the carbon filter does tend to let cat hair build up on it, which slows the rate of drainage from the top reservoir. I have to remove and rinse off the top filter every week or so. The fountain is easy to clean and assemble. But I wish that the bowl was just a bit more clear. Even with the internal light, it’s sometimes hard to tell what the interior water level is at. Plus, the light in mine is pointing at the back of the bowl. That’s not helpful when I need to see the level in n the front of the bowl. I also wish that the spout of the fountain was made of a nicer material. The metal it’s currently made of is pretty cheap. It’s functional, and I haven’t had any problems. But I can foresee problems like rusting happening in the future. Something like a hard acrylic or even glass would probably work better for an environment like the fountain.All in all I would say that this was a purchase that was worth it to me. But there are a few small adjustments that the manufacturer could make to help the fountain work even better.
