Difficult to grasp most sized logs.
This seems materially well made but it is difficult to grasp a log and especially smaller kindling for a fireplace because of its rounded design. If the tips of the tongs were flat it would work better.

The tongs are sturdy and work as advertised. HOWEVER, they are short! Of course I wanted short so they were more manageable when moving and placing logs. Don't even think of using these with a wood stove insert without also buying a pair of welding gloves. I have saved you some hand hair! You're welcome!
