Size:Тhree Pаck The Niagara Conservation revolutionary Tri-Max Faucet Aerator features three adjustable needle spray settings for optimal task performance and maximum water savings. The Tri-Max aerator produces a pressure-compensated stream that performs well at any water pressure. Simply twist the aerator to match your desired task: 0.5 GPM flow rate for soaping, 1.0 GPM for washing, and 1.5 GPM for powerful rinse mode. The Niagara Conservation brand of faucet aerators are most preferred by professionals and consumers alike because of their ability to conserve energy and water without sacrificing quality.

Water conservation simplified, very useful
This aerator allows you to adjust the flow in 3 modes. Regular hand washing- 0.5 gallon/minuteshaving/rising shaving blade/rinsing toothbrush - maybe use the 1.5 gpm mode to increase pressureIt seems solid enough. I had some trouble figuring out the threading onto my faucet because of an internal washer in my faucet. Once i pulled that out, threading this one was a breeze. I am happy with my purchase. For 6 odd dollars, i am now happy that i do not waste as much water as a 2.2gpm aerator. The math:the municipality charges 2.64$ for 784 gallons ( 1 ccf).Shaving -5 min @ 2.2 gpm = 11gpm is the amount of water consumed. Now divide 748/11= 68 shavesshaving - 5 min @ 1.5gpm = 7.5 gpm is the amount of water consumed. Now divide 748/7.5 = 99.73 shavesIt seems very minimal but compound this over a period of years for a family. I calculated these for 1 person. What if there are 3/4 people in a family using this faucet everyday? You get the idea.

Helps conserve water, but also allows for more volume when needed.
Installed on the kitchen sink in my RV, nice to have 0.5GPM setting for doing dishes and washing hands, but I can easily switch it to 1.5GPM mode for filling pots or filling the sink. Has a higher pressure spray than the 2.5GPM aerator I replaced, so it should work better for rinsing off dishes.

Works great, would recommend
So this does exactly what I expected it to and it does it well. It saves me water and it actually feels like it increases the water pressure. Some things that may bother others:1. The installation can be a bit weird with the key they give to screw in the adapter, but I was still done in under a minute.2. The majority of the construction is plastic. All appears to be good enough quality.3. This product sticks out a bit further than my previous aerator did, but my faucet and sink provide for enough room still that this isn't a concern for me.4. As noted in some other reviews, the selector can pop off fairly easily, but also as noted in other reviews this makes sense and it is not like it is straight up falling off the faucet.5. Also as noted elsewhere here, the only mode you've got is the needle spray. I thought this might bother me, but after washing my hands in that sink, it does not. If you're feeling it is too weak though, just dial it up to the 1.5 or 2 setting and you're golden.

Exactly what I was needing
As said in other reviews, the chrome selector has a tendency to pop right off if you're not careful. However, this is done on purpose (to a point) so that you can remove the outer ring to tighten the item onto the pipe without damaging both the chrome/plastic outer piece and the way that it fits onto the inner piece. Once it's on the pipe, so long as you know that it's possible for it to pop off, it's easy to adjust without issue. I don't care for the "needle" spray pattern, but that's currently the only pattern available for any 0.5 GPM aerators (way too much research and product comparisons prior to buying this item allowed me to come to that conclusion with confidence). The 0.5 setting works great for nearly every need I have, but it's wonderful being able to kick up the flow whenever necessary. My house is designed in a way that takes forever and a day for hot water to reach taps farthest away from the hot water heater. The slower the flow, the longer it takes for the water to heat up. If I'm at the other end of the house, I can turn the tap to "high" to run the water, and thereby the heat, faster. Once the water is warmed up, I can turn it back to 0.5 and continue as usual.

Works great after 2 years, saves loads of water especially in the kids bathroom
I really love this Aerator. We've had it for a couple of years now, and it's been very solid. We bought a second one for our kid's bathroom last year.We keep the aerator on it's lowest setting, and that's good enough for 90% of our use cases. Washing hands, cleaning your face, etc. The only times we turn it up if we need to fill something up with water, or when I shave. Turned on it's highest setting the streams of water have quite a bit of pressure - excellent for rinsing of a razor blade.I recently changed our faucet to a different color, so have returned to a standard 2.2 GPB aerator. The aerator in my new faucet provides one big stream of water instead of lots of individual streams (like a shower), because of this the pressure is much lower, making it harder to clean a razor blade. bah. Now I need to find an aerator like this one in a different color...
