Just what we needed
Moved to this home in nearly 3 years ago. House and fixtures are from 2005. There are 6 pendant lamps matching those in another review on this page. Bulbs were 35w 12 volt halogen.Replacement with LEDs became imperative because the heat generated by the halogens was gradually deforming the metal contacts within the porcelain bulb sockets. Two of our 6 lamps already were intermittently going dead.Tried a variety of 12v LED bulbs from various sources. None of them filled the glass globes evenly while still directing enough light downward. These bulbs do.Thanks to Evan Sermos, Jr. for his review and photo!Compared to the native 35w halogens, these produce very slightly less illumination, not enough to notice unless comparing simultaneously. White balance is good, likely close to the claimed 3000K. CRI is fine, with good rendition of reds and of fruit colors. They dim smoothly from our wall switch without flicker.Since they do not produce intense heat the sockets are working properly.Follow-up: After 4 months one bulb failed. Since I had extra bulbs from the original order I replaced it. Then I wrote the seller via Amazon and immediately a replacement package of 4 more bulbs was sent. Spo the bulbs are pretty good, and it pays to shop at Amazon. The seller, TAIYALOO, represented by Cherry was excellent. When UPS lost this replacement package, she quickly send another via USPS and it was delivered in 3 days.

Not dimmable, but no flicker with dimmer switch after the bulbs warm up
The halogen bulbs in our pendant lights were very hot and burned out frequently. Recently I had to have the bulb holder in one of the lamps replaced because it no longer worked, which I attributed to the heat.I started reading about LED replacement bulbs for 12V 2-pin lamps, and noted that one of the sellers said that the LEDs I was interested in weren’t dimmable, and would flicker if used with a dimmer switch and that the only way to fix that was to replace the switch with a regular, non-dimming switch. However, one user said in a review that he had no problem with flicker, so I thought I’d give these a shot and replace the switch if I had to.Once I installed these bulbs I pushed the slider up to high and turned them on. At first they were fine, then a barely-perceptible flicker started. I pushed the slider down a bit and the flicker turned into a blink. I pushed the slider up to high and went back to my computer to shop for rocker switches. When I came back, the flicker was gone. After a while it came back, but it’s really not noticeable unless you’re looking right at the light (which I don’t normally do). They aren’t quite as bright as the LEDs they replaced, but close enough and the color is good. I’ll give them a little more time before I spring for a rocker switch.UPDATE 02.27.23The flicker was perceptible from time to time, so I installed a rocker switch and that helped. However, shortly after I did that the transformer failed and I had to replace it. The new one looks just like the old one, but it is marked for use with LEDs which the old one was not. I have had no issues with the bulbs since.

Very nifty bulbs - sadly maybe short-lived - but superb customer service
I got a pack of these LED bulbs, deployed one and loved it; you can see my original 5-star review, posted Feb. 1, 2020, below. Sadly now, in April 2021, 15 months later, I join the ranks of the many reviewers here experiencing first flickering, and very quickly then substantial bulb failure, getting under 10% of the expected bulb life on this one bulb. However, the great news is that Sunaifa, the seller, just immediately sent me a whole, second, replacement pack of these bulbs AND refunded all my money, if you can believe it. Wow! Just the very best customer service! I’m a big believer that the really best customer service is that which isn’t needed - but if you need it, it doesn’t hardly get any better than this.I can’t continue to rate these bulbs 5 stars, since I’m not sure at this point about their longevity, can’t exactly recommend them. But they are very nifty bulbs while they last, and, again, the service is just fantastic. So now 4 stars.—— here below is my original 5-star review of these LED bulbs ———— from February 2020, 15 months ago ——Great bulbs, at least for me. Compared to the 12v, 50w halogen bulb that this LED replaced, this LED uses only 1/10th the power, but yields 10% more lumens (light output), runs comfortably warm instead of hellishly hot, and doesn’t threaten to explode if touched. And I haven’t seen any flickering. On the other hand, this LED is about twice the diameter and 5x the weight of the halogen bulb, in case that matters to you. An easy 5 stars from me.

Flickers even without a dimmer. This replaced a 3W LED that did not flicker
This 5W GY6.35 LED flickers when it was installed to replace 3W LED's. These are not on dimmers. I was surprised to discover that these flickered as it did. The warmth color and brightest was very accurate. Very unfortunate that it flickers whereas the previous lower wattage LEDs did not.

Great replacement for my halogen bulbs
The bulbs are great. They are larger than the halogens they replaced but do the job perfectly. On top of that, the seller was SUPER RESPONSIVE AND HELPFUL!I had some problems with the bulbs flickering. The lights they went into are almost 20 years old, and the transformer feeding them was never designed to supply bulbs with low current needs (the old bulbs were 50W halogen bulbs). After a few emails back and forth with the seller, I finally decided to pick up a couple of these transformers: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08YDCL87G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 which comfortably fit within the housing and completely solved the flickering issues.Highly recommended!

Fine product
Pay attention to the type and size. Do more research until you order. We ordered the wrong type and size and had to return them.

Good product!
Nice bright light, and easy to install in our dining table lighting fixture. I'm running them on 12 volts AC and getting no noticeable flicker. they They also run on 12 V DC according to the specs, but I have not verified operation. Each bulb replaces a 50W halogen bulb which ran hot and had a short life. They consume a small fraction of the power.

These bulbs aren't dimmable!
We bought these bulbs to replace halogen ones in our pendant lights which were 50w - in the current energy crisis we are looking for ways to reduce our bills. The colour is a nice warm white but they radiate light outwards rather than down. However, the main problem is there is only one setting on our lutron lighting panel where the beam is steady. If the power is turned up or down a notch the bulbs flicker constantly so they should not be advertised as dimmable. And at £34, this is a total rip-off!

Okay but I want more
Nothing wrong with these lights except that I wish they were brighter. These seem to be the brightest LED's of this type that I can find. It is nice that the base is round and covers the electrical connections.

Am very happy with the bulbs
If your light has a halogen bulb protector the bulb may not fit into it but should not be necessary because these bulbs do not get very hot the way halogens do. I cannot rate longevity as I've only had them for a few weeks.
