I haven't used this yet because I just bought it but I can't wait to try it out. I bought the 4 pack so I could share with my daughters for when they travel. I gave it 4 stars because I haven't been able to figure out where to put the batteries. I asked a question about it but didn't get an answer. I would have given it 5 stars if it had been easier to figure out on my own.

No instructions. So: Remove the very small Phillips screws on back. Flip up panel; install batteries. Reinsert screw.

Easy to use

I use these for travelling. Just something to make me feel a bit more secure and give me a moments notice if someone is trying to get in. Not only does this stop the door from opening but the alarms are LOUD!! Perfect!

I like the fact that you can use as just a door stopper or as an alarm. That was the major selling point for me. I reside in a building where both come in handy. I went in with a few other tenants and we all love them.

I slipped one under each door; the front, the backdoor, and the basement door, and I went outside to test them myself, and got locked out. So it's effective, but if your going to test them, make sure you have a way back inside the house.
