Its Well Worth The Price & Quality. Not To Mention Quick Delivery From Prime. I'm Blade Collector .So I've Seen My Share of Blades Own over 100 pieces. This Knife Is Perfect as Is. But if I was to Tweek-it .The Few thing's I Would Change is Add a Serrated Edge, Sharpen the Back-end Tip & Have Two Different Type Sheath keep The original one it comes with , But also have an extra one ( Leather of course ) with differnt carry option horizontal or Vertical and a boot clip won't Hurt.(Enclosed Pictures of Idea 💡) But That's Just My Opinion. Trust Me if you Buy This Kubey You Won't Regret it, Of That I'm Sure...

This is my 8th Kubey Knife. Five folders and three fixed blade. All of them are excellent knives. Some for work, some for my collection and some just to play with. This KU157 is a defensive weapon. Four inches long, 3.5mm thick. The best knife with a tonto point I own and I own a lot. Very sharp with evenly sharpened beveled blade. Full tang, D2 steel construction with beautiful Titanium Grey coating. Nice G10 scales that are half checkered on top and half smooth on bottom. Fits medium hands to a tee. Window or head buster on handle end. Very good sheath designed to hold the knife safe and secured. This is a serious instrument and not a toy. I commend the person that designed this jewel. Got my first knife when I was three years old. 68 years later I am still buying and loving them. Kubey knives are among my favorites. I purchase top brand knives made all over the world (some very expensive). Kubey knives that are made in China are equal to many of them. Great quality control. Best general purpose blade steels for my purposes are: AUS-8, D2, 1095, 154CM, 420HC and VG-10 and when I can afford it CPM-S30V/ CPM-S35VN. Five stars for this Kubey. Seven stars if they would let me.

I'm not usually a fan of China knives; however, several recent purchases like this one have been making me reconsider my position. This knife was well presented; well designed, and comes complete with a very well made sheath and belt clip. The quality for the money is right on point. The workmanship on this particular piece is superb; smooth curves, and sharp lines. Definitely worth a 5 star rating... would give more if I could!

Sturdy and sharp. Sturdy Sheath. Tanto blade works well for cutting mushrooms off in the field. I like that the shealth position angle is adjustable by unscrewing a couple of screws and repositioning belt attachment portion into alternative mounting holes.I would have given this product 5 stars except for the design of the plastic latch that locks the belt attachment feature around your belt. The latch is attached to the sheath on one side and pivots on a pin but rather than holes in the latch that the pin goes through, half circle claw features are molded into the latch which wrap over the pin. Once secured to your belt the latch is fine and holds reliably however when the latch is in the open position, there is nothing to prevent the latch from falling off the pin and it often does when you take your knife off your belt, before you can close and lock the latch again. Latch is only about 3/4 of an inch or so long and black so it is really hard to find if if falls off into the forest duff. If latch is lost you will no longer be able to attach this sheath to your belt or pack strap and I expect at some point I will loose it and be a lot less happy with this knife purchase..

This knife is thick, heavy, and extremely functional. It is the sharpest blade I’ve ever handled. I cut raw chicken breast to test it and there was zero resistance. I have no real “need” for a knife like this, as I’m not a mercenary or SEAL operator. This knife is made for one thing: combat. The angle in the sharpened edge focuses a slash and you will likely find bone. The tip is super sturdy and again, the tanto angle and razor edge will leave a wide stab wound before much blade penetrates. As a bonus, there’s a pointy crusher pommel. Nasty any way you use it. The kydex sheath and belt clip are serious business too. Yes, it locks very firmly in the sheath, with no rattles and no chance of it coming out unless you pull hard. The clip is adjustable and will facilitate upward/downward draw, scout carry, or diagonal, right or left. Seems like glass-filled nylon but I’m no polymer expert. Extremely sturdy, no flex, nice strong clip lock mechanism. The clip will fit up to a 2-1/8” wide belt. Includes a spacer system to fit tightly on more narrow belts. Comes set up for 1-1/4” belts. Any reviews claiming the sheath is poor quality, disregard.All in all, dangerous and sexy. Design and execution: 5/5 stars.

Good gravy! this guy got sharp. Cut myself twice. Love the "blade as long as handle" proportions. Still need to take it out to the field for testing.

This is my first fixed blade knife and it's very nice, I love the blade shape and it comes with a kydex sheath It's very secure and it's very sharp. I love the kubey folding knives so I decided to try a fixed blade and I'm glad I did. You get alot for your money!

This isn't actually sharp on arrival. Maybe I'm just used to real sharp blades with my s35vn and other premium steel blades, but this isn't very good. Seems more like a toy that isn't useful. Would define this as walmart grade quality and price.

oder nur Schmutzig, ich konnte es nur mit Mühe reinigen! Auch die Kydexscheide machte einen leicht fleckigen und evtl. schon benutzten Eindruck. Nach Säuberung und leichtem Abziehen auf dem Leder war die Klinge wieder Top, auch die Scheide ist wieder ok, aber so etwas sollte man im Voraus verhindern, sehr ärgerlich für den Kunden.Ich habe heute mein nochmals bestelltes Messer erhalten… in einem TOP Zustand, so sollte es sein. Von daher verdient dieses Messer die vollen 5 Sterne und meine Kaufempfehlung, so, wie man es von Kubey auch gewohnt ist

An und für sich ein sehr schönes und hochwertig (CNC) gefertigtes Messer, nur hätte ich eigentlich die „titanium grey“ Version davon gehabt. Leider bekam ich nach der 1. Retoursendung wiederum eines mit Stonewashed-Klinge.Das ist wirklich sehr schade! Habe es trotzdem behalten, denn das Messer ist top verarbeitet, wie von KUBEY gewohnt.Mit der Kydex-Scheide im Tacco Style bin ich nicht sehr glücklich, denn die Trageoptionen mit dem Gürtelclip sind damit zu sehr begrenzt.Das Messer erhält von mir 5 Sterne, die Scheide nur 3.Es wäre sehr hilfreich, wenn Amazon die richtigen Bilder zum Produkt einstellen würde und vor allem die Artikelbeschreibung zu ergänzen, um welche Beschichtung der Klinge es sich tatsächlich handelt! Dann spart man sich 2 - 3 mal hin und her schicken. Vielen Dank!

ich mach's kurz:schon beim zweiten einsatz (pfeil aus einem baum buhlen) ist die spitze abgebrochen. dabei hab ich extra dieses messer wegen der dickeren klinge genommen.auch hat sich die "öse" am griffende als äußerst unpraktisch erwiesen. diese läuft spitz zu, so dass es kaum möglich ist, druck auf die klinge auszuüben (da es zu sehr schmerzt. warum man das nicht abgeflacht machen konnte ist mir ein rätsel.positiv bewerte ich die scheide, in der das messe - auch kopfüber - sehr guten halt hat. auch dass man die halterung von vertikal auf horizontal umbauen kann ist sehr praktisch. auch die schärfe ist gut.trotzdem würde ich das messer nicht noch einmal kaufen!

Il coltello si presenta in una confezione più che dignitosa, il pezzo forte è il fodero in kydex con attacco regolabile incluso veramente di buona qualità, la lama è particolare e nel complesso il coltello è piacevole, si tratta pur sempre di una lama economica non mi ci affiderei per lavori gravosi, rapporto qualità-prezzo molto valido.

Gutes, ausgewogenes vorgeschärftes Messer, alles schön. Ein Stern Abzug: Fettiger Fingerabdruck auf der Klinge (gehört da nicht hin) und Kydex Scheide verschmutzt. Ansonsten immer wieder gerne.
